8-Ball is probably the most popular cue sport variation around. We've complied several tips and tricks to improve your 8-Ball game:
The game have been developed over time and became the most popular form of Pool, which is a Cue Game, such as the Billiards, Snooker, Carom Billiards, etc.
The game purpose is to get all of your balls (solids or stripes) into the pockets, and then the final move - hitting the Black Ball into the Pocket, before your opponent does.
For every variation of Pool games the white (cue) ball is the ball which the cue has to hit. The white ball’s movement affects the results of the game.
your purpose is to hit a Ball (Solid\Stripes Ball) so it gets into a pocket. As you hold the Cue stick, Your goal is to hit the Cue Ball (the white Ball), as the angle of the Cue Ball hit on the Solid\Stripes Ball (at start of game it determined whether you should hit the “Solids” or the “Stripes” Balls) and hit it to the “Pocket” (holes in the tables sides, there are six of them).
For example: assuming the first Ball you pocketed is a “Solid” Ball, and it is your turn now, you should use the Cue Stick to hit the White Ball in the right angle, so the white Ball hits a Solid Ball and pockets it in.
The game is played by turns, when usually the one who is the first on tables is the first to play. in Online gaming – the one that “opened table” is the one that starts the game order of playing.
Player must hit own ball in any hit (the one chosen as yours - Solid\Stripes), and in case there are none left - the Black Ball (the 8-Ball), in any other case - it counts as a “foul”, and then opponent gains what so called “free ball”: the opponent could be placing the Cue Ball Wherever desired so shot on balls would be easier for him.
When hitting one of own 8-Balls (Solid\Stripes – as chosen at game start) into the one of the pockets, Player gets an extra turn, and so on as long as at least one of own Balls hits into one (or more) of pockets in the extra turn.
